This proposal outlines the approach we propose to adopt in the policy review and institutional capacity analysis for the YEDP project with a focus on poverty alleviation, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable development in Yunnan.

During the process, the Center for Biodiversity and Indigenous Knowledge (CBIK) will form a multidisciplinary team to work closely with the relevant government agencies and stakeholders through policy analysis and review, mini-workshops for policy dialogues, institutional analysis and field case studies from late October until December, 2001.
