(1st announcement) International Symposium on Traditional Utilization and Conservation of Community

To implement the strategy of "Promoting Green Development of the Belt and Road Initiative” adhering to the concept that lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets, the Center for Biodiversity and Indigenous Knowledge (CBIK) intends to hold an "International Symposium on Traditional Utilization and Conservation of Community Forest Resources" in Kunming, Yunnan Province, from November 15th to 18th, 2024. 

In comply with the Kunming-Montreal Declaration of COP15, we cardinally invite participants to exchange ideas and share experiences of traditional utilization and conservation of community forest resources from respective regions of the world.

10Accommodation

Participants are suggested to stay at the Guest Housel of the Conference Center, Southwest Forestry University, room charge RMB 200 per night will particularly apply to participants.

11. Registration fee:

  • The registration fee (RMB 800 yuan for normal participants and RMB 500 yuan for students) will cover food and beverage, materials as well as meeting room rentals etc.
