3) At least 2-3 years practical experience of some aspect of sustainable or ecological agriculture;

4) An understanding and appreciation of the information needs of practitioners in sustainable and ecological agriculture;

5) Strong abilities to work independently and to strict time deadlines;

6) Strong communication abilities;

7) A commitment to the ideals and promotion of the practices of sustainable and ecological agriculture;

8) A commitment to the ideals and roles of NGOs in Chinese society.

Additional desirable qualities would include

- experience of producing bulletins or other publications.

- journalistic or editorial experience

- ability to manage websites.

Applicants must have no restrictions on international travel.
